Saturday, November 11 saw the publication in two volumes of the Venezuelan edition of Reason in Revolt by Alan Woods and Ted Grant.
This follows the publication of the Cuban edition of the book in February this year and is a sign of the growing interest in the ideas of Marxism in Latin America. This first Venezuelan edition of Reason in Revolt is the result of the collaboration between the Fundación Federico Engels and the Fundación Editorial "El perro y la rana" which is part of the Ministry of Culture of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
These two volumes are the first in a series of titles which will be part of the Heterodoxy Collection published by the Fundación editorial. The book will be available to the public through the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture and also at the Fundación Federico Engels stand at the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) which is taking place in Caracas.
The Venezuelan edition will be presented by the author on Friday, November 17, at 6pm at the Ernesto Che Guevara hall of the Book Fair.
The Venezuelan edition of the book contains an introdution by Alan Woods on the necessity of the Marxist theory in the Venezuela revolution.
