The machines have been reconnected, production has resumed as well as contacts with suppliers and clients. We are putting the factory in order, and what is more important, maintaining it under democratic workers’ control!

Flasko is recovering from the violent blow it was dealt, after the judicial-federal intervention against workers’ control and the struggle for nationalisation at Cipla and Interfibra.

The workers of Flasko would like to thank all those who supported them, nationally and internationally, since this support was of key importance. For the same reason they are asking their supporters to continue to protect the factory from renewed attacks which will surely take place sooner rather than later.

For this reason, Flasko started a wide petition campaign for a resolution in support of the factory and its nationalisation under workers’ control and calls on all those who support the struggle of the workers of the occupied factories in Brazil to participate in a rally on August 14, at 7:00pm, to draw a balance-sheet of this victory and prepare for future battles.

President Lula and Minister Marinho: immediate withdrawal of the intervention against the occupied factories!

For the nationalisation of Cipla, Interfibra and Flasko under democratic workers’ control.
