Bourgeois democracy in Austria is in a senile crisis. Like in other countries in Europe, the Hamas attacks of 7 October have been used to whip up a reactionary mood. Muslim migrants and the communists of Der Funke (the IMT in Austria) are at the centre of these political attacks, with reformist leaders of Social Democracy and Communist Party actively persecuting party members who stand in solidarity with the Palestinians.
The crisis in NUPES – the ‘union’ consisting of La France Insoumise (FI), the Socialist Party (PS), the Greens and the Communist Party (PCF) – is increasingly taking on the air of a bedroom farce: shouting, declamations, doors opening, slammed, and then opened again, etc. Boredom mixed with irritation is spreading among the audience, and little by little the auditorium is emptying.

Després d’un mes del començament d’una neteja ètnica admesa pels dirigents israelians contra el poble palestí, l’OEPB, l’Organització d’Estibadors Portuaris de Barcelona, ha decidit “no permetre al nostre port l’activitat dels vaixells que continguin material bèl·lic”. A aquesta decisió s’ha afegit la USTP (Unión Sindical de Trabajadores del Puerto) el dia 8 de novembre.
Els titànics esdeveniments ocorreguts a Alemanya entre novembre de 1918 i octubre de 1923 constitueixen un capítol tràgic i amarg en el moviment obrer internacional. Es van perdre enormes oportunitats, en les quals la classe treballadora alemanya podria haver pres el poder repetidament, però tot va desembocar finalment en l’espantosa victòria dels nazis en 1933 i en l’anihilació del moviment obrer alemany. Els esforços revolucionaris dels treballadors alemanys van quedar frustrats per la traïció dels socialdemòcrates i pels tràgics errors comesos pels dirigents del jove Partit Comunista alemany.
