We are proud to announce the publication of the French translation of Alan Woods’ History of Philosophy: A Marxist Perspective. The English language edition received a phenomenal reception upon its release in 2021, demonstrating the thirst that exists for serious works of Marxist theory. The appearance of this latest translation is an important advance for Marxist ideas in the Francophone world, and we congratulate the French-speaking comrades of the IMT on this achievement.
A tide of people flooded Madrid on Sunday in protest against the ongoing collapse of Madrid’s public health system due to privatisation and cutbacks by the right-wing Ayuso government. One million people took part, according to the organisers.
Una marea humana inundó Madrid en protesta por el estado de colapso de la sanidad pública madrileña, debido a la política privatizadora y de recortes del gobierno derechista de Ayuso. Un millón de personas participaron, según los convocantes. La policía contó 250.000, unas 50.000 personas más que en la anterior movilización del 13 de noviembre. Protestas masivas tuvieron lugar también en Galicia y Castilla y León, igualmente gobernadas por la derecha.
Recebemos um relato de uma camarada que participou de uma das duas manifestações chamadas no País Basco em 28 de janeiro. Pensamos que é muito significante que milhares de pessoas jovens participaram de uma manifestação militante sob uma faixa da revolução socialista. Esse movimento ser uma inspiração para os marxistas revolucionários ao redor do mundo, e congratulamos os camaradas do GKS pelo seu sucesso.
Στα τέλη Ιανουαρίου, η διεθνής ηγεσία της Διεθνούς Μαρξιστικής Τάσης (IMT) συναντήθηκε στην Ιταλία. Αυτή ήταν η πρώτη δια ζώσης συνάντηση του κορυφαίου οργάνου της IMT εδώ και ακριβώς τρία χρόνια. H τελευταία που πραγματοποιήθηκε δια ζώσης ήταν τον Ιανουάριο του 2020, ακριβώς τη στιγμή που ο COVID-19 εξαπλώθηκε σε όλο τον κόσμο. Τώρα, επιτέλους, σύντροφοι από κάθε ήπειρο – από 27 χώρες συνολικά – μπόρεσαν να συναντηθούν από κοντά για να συζητήσουν.
