We are proud to announce the launch of the new biography of Ted Grant, entitled Ted Grant: the Permanent Revolutionary. Alan Woods, the author of the book, will be publically launching the book at a meeting on May Day - Wednesday 1st May - hosted by the UCLU Marxist Society in London.
Wednesday 1st May, 7pm

UCL, Gower Street, London
Ted Grant was the founder and leading theoretician of the Militant Tendency and later of Socialist Appeal. Ted kept the ideas of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Trotsky alive after the collapse of the Fourth International, and made important contributions and developments with his writings on the post-war boom, Stalinism, and the Colonial Revolutions.
Alan Woods, a leading figure of the International Marxist Tendency (IMT) and Socialist Appeal - and lifetime collaborator and friend of Ted Grant - will be presenting the biography, discussing the life of Ted Grant and his role and involvement in the world socialist movement.
Copies of the book will be available for sale and can be ordered at Wellred UK or Wellred USA.
This will be followed by a social, taking place at 21:00 in UCL's Jeremy Bentham Room.
