Students threatened with arrest if they go near Tehran University!

On the afternoon of Monday 3 December the Iranian regime’s Information Ministry contacted a number of left-wing students and told them that they should report to the Ministry the next day. If they did not present themselves at the Ministry at 10am, or went anywhere near Tehran University, they would be arrested.

On the afternoon of Monday 3 December the Iranian regime’s Information Ministry contacted a number of left-wing students and told them that they should report to the Ministry the next day. If they did not present themselves at the Ministry at 10am, or went anywhere near Tehran University, they would be arrested. The students contacted in this way include Ruzbeh Kalantari, Morteza Eslahchi, Habib Khosravi and Parisa Nasrabadi.

A number of students had to comply grudgingly with this ‘request’ of the Information Ministry and not take part in the successful Students’ Day rally at Tehran University on 4 December.

So far as we know Ruzbeh Kalantari and Parisa Nasrabadi have not yet been arrested.

Support the arrested students and left-wing activists by sending a protest email based on the model letter.
