According to reports received an hour ago six of the May Day detainees were released on bail. Yesterday Jalal Hosseini and today Mahmood Salehi, Mohsen Hakimi, Borhan Divangar, Mohammad Abdipoor, Esmail Khodkam and Hadi Tanoomand were released. We will announce further information soon.

At this year’s TUC congress a number of leading trade unionists signed the Saghez workers protest letter to the Iranian Embassy, among them Andy Gilchrist, General Secretary of the FBU, Tony Woodley, General Secretary of the TGWU, Jeremy Dear, General Secretary of the NUJ and many others.
