This Easter Young Left had its 44th congress in Arboga, Sweden. At the Congress activists from the Hands off Venezuela campaign were present arguing support for a motion that included a call for Young Left to support the campaign and sign an appeal to the Swedish labour movement.

On Tuesday the HOV delegation that went to Venezuela during the December elections, showed video-clips and slides from their visit and spoke about their experience. The most striking part was their visit to the Sanitarios Maracay factory now being run by the workers after they occupied it back in November. John McDonnell MP and Alan Woods, founder of the HOV campaign, were among the main speakers, as was the Venezuelan Ambassador, Alfredo Toro Hardy.
