Also
on Sunday night, 15 protesting students from Babol University (three of
whom are on hunger strike), were attacked by the security forces when
they were alone in the university. After clashes they were abducted and
transferred to an undisclosed location. There is still no further
information about them. Together with Bijan Sabagh (who was the first
one arrested) the total number of abducted students has now reached
sixteen. The names of some of the others are:

According to reports received from Mazandaran University, in
northern Iran, abductions of students by the security and information
forces have entered a new stage. On Sunday night (15 April), the
security and information forces entered the university compound and
following clashes with protesting students abducted 15 of them. At
present the university is occupied and swamped by these forces.
Three
plain-clothes officers in a white car briefly abducted another student
on Sunday night. After interrogation and a beating he was released on a
remote road.
