Venue: KCL Strand Campus, S-3.18 (Third Floor Basement)

Join KCL Marxists as we celebrate Black History Month with our event on Black Struggle. The roots of Black oppression can be traced to the formative period of capitalism and slavery, and today barely a day goes by without news of another death to the hands of police brutality. The Black Liberation movement has taken many forms from the initial slave uprisings to Black Lives Matter today. Join us to discuss how racism has become entrenched in society, and what steps must be taken to overcome this.
