Esmail Mohamadi is a political prisoner held in the Iranian jail of Oromiyeh awaiting execution. The Supreme Court dealt with the death penalty a few days ago. Mohamadi has been in prison for two years and has undergone torture and abuse. We reported on his case in a previous article. It has also been reported under the urgent actions of Amnesty International (See their website).
Now the final stage of his trial and execution are imminent, so please add your protest to the petition to Kofi Annan at http://www.petitiononline.com/es2012/petition.html. Mohamadi is a member of the Komala, a socialist party advocating rights for the Kurdish minority in Iran.
